Space Tourism is ‘More Than a Thrill Ride’ — It's About Connecting to the Planet: World View CEO

March 31, 2022

Actor and environmental activist Adrian Grenier has been brought in by space tourism company World View to help with their environmental program and welcome people back to Earth after their flights.

World View's mission is to look back down at Earth and reflect on our interconnectedness, rather than escape the planet. World View's price point is lower than competitors such as Space Perspective, at $50,000 per ticket with available financing, with operations taking place at seven wonders of the world.

Ryan Hartman, CEO of World View, said that the company believes that space tourism benefits should be shared with as many people as possible. Grenier believes that space tourism is about better understanding our planet and creating a new perspective, which can contribute to a better future for the planet. Grenier has invested in World View and sees the access to the experience as creating a cognitive shift in awareness to our interconnectedness.

World View's $50,000 space tourism experience will be cheaper than Blue Origin's $250,000, which has already drawn a lot of publicity. The World View experience aims to create a new perspective of our planet and contribute to a better future for the planet.
