Soon Enough, You'll Be Able to Go to Space in a Hot Air Balloon
Stratospheric balloon company, World View, plans to launch Rediscover Earth flights by 2024, taking tourists into space in a zero-pressure stratospheric balloon and pressurized space capsule.
The eight-guest tour will last six to 12 hours, reaching nearly 23 miles into the stratosphere. The trip includes a five-day excursion visiting seven destinations, including the Grand Canyon, Giza Pyramids, and Great Barrier Reef. The cost is $50,000, cheaper than other means of space tourism, and a $500 deposit can be made on World View's website.
The company aims to inspire, create, and explore new perspectives for an improved future.
