Former SSL CTO Matteo Genna Joins World View
Dr. Matteo Genna, the former Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of SSL, has joined World View as Senior Vice President of Engineering and Manufacturing.
In his new role, Genna will lead engineering and manufacturing and provide executive leadership and direction for the development of all flight services and vehicles, including World View's Stratollite® platform. The Stratollite platform is a balloon-borne vehicle that operates over areas of interest for long-duration missions. Genna brings more than 20 years of experience in leading engineering, product development, and manufacturing teams to World View. World View leadership adds that Genna is a great fit with the company's organizational culture and will be an exceptional leader for the innovative and growing team and mission.
